Arcore railway station

Arcore railway station

Arcore, LOMBARDIA (ITALY)

The redevelopment project has as its primary objective the adaptation of the railway system from the safety point of view and accessibility as well as a modernization from an aesthetic-functional point of view, to those that are the standards set by the Ferrovie dello Stato Group.
The fundamental input is that of reconstructing a new idea of a station that is always closer to the current complexities and centering around itself, the role of a real "spatial node" understood as a place of access and dynamic exchange for the urban context of reference.
The railway station front redevelopment, rise of the station sidewalks H55, redevelopment of the existing underpass and insertion of lifts, upgrades of access to the same, new canopies for the platforms, redevelopment of outdoor spaces, MEP upgrades; they represent synthetically the interventions foreseen in the important railway infrastructure.
